You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
He loves pitching, he loves the challenge of having a full count or 3-1, and serving up 2 strikes in a row or 1 to get the strikeout. He's also an insane short stop, his baseball IQ level for a 10 year old is just mind-blowing. He loves it so much, he asked to play in a league he’s been in since 8U this year and his school league. So, even though it was tough, we made it happen and both teams won their league championships! With football he’s determined to be a QB!
Definitely Elly De La Cruz, he is just inspired by his ability to see the field and get to balls most players can’t, or make plays that people don’t see happening - he has such a good read off the bat which is what Liam inspires to do. With football it’s Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill, he’s a huge Chiefs fan! He loves Patrick’s ability to show up, show out and perform with pressure
Liam is a heart patient who has had 4 open heart surgeries and a pacemaker, to even see him be able to play sports, compete the way he does with true passion and dedication is truly inspiring. If we are talking play wise, there are so many, he’s a phenomenal pitcher under pressure. The one moment that stands out to me this season was when he was playing SS, he made a diving line drive catch between short and third, then immediately threw the kid out at 2nd who didn’t tag up.
