Lucas loves the teamwork and camaraderie that come with playing soccer. The thrill of working together as a unit to achieve a common goal is what drives him every day. He enjoys the physical and mental challenge soccer provides, whether it’s strategizing on the field, setting up plays as a midfielder, or scoring goals as a forward. But above all, the joy of seeing his teammates grow and succeed together is what fuels his love for the sport.
Lucas is inspired by soccer legends like Cristiano Ronaldo for his work ethic and leadership. He also draws strength from his coaches at Juventus Academy Toronto, who help him grow through teamwork and discipline. Most of all, his family, especially his younger brother whom he mentors, keeps him motivated to lead by example and always strive to improve.
The moment I’m most proud of was when Lucas earned MVP at an international tournament in Portugal. He showed great skill, determination, and leadership, inspiring his team to give their best. What made me proud wasn’t just the award, but how he stayed humble and supported his teammates throughout.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
