Lilly sustained a stress fracture in her foot midway thru her freshman season. She had finally conquered shin splints that had been hampering her progression in hurdles. But instead of becoming discouraged, she focused on her rehab and approached it as training & injury recovery & prevention. That's when I knew she had what it took to become a top athlete.
