Lily loves competing at her best in volleyball. Intense games fuel her mindset, and the friendships she’s made through the sport feel like home. Traveling, meeting new people, and the team bond make volleyball more than a just a game—it’s her safe space and passion.
Lily is inspired by coaches who believed in her from day one, helping her grow as a player and person. Her brother Logan showed her what dedication looks like through sports, teaching her to push beyond limits. Her dad motivates her with his daily routine and work ethic—despite struggles, he shows up every day. Lily mirrors that drive, getting to the gym and chasing her goals. Like him, she has something to prove, and that keeps her going strong both on and off the court.
As a parent, my proudest moment was when Lily found her sport—volleyball. She’s played many, but this one lit a fire in her. Watching her grow through camps, training, and daily dedication is incredible. She steps on the court with a goal to get 1% better every time. Her mindset, drive, and how she lifts others up make me proud beyond words. She’s chosen her path as an athlete, and I know she can achieve anything she sets her mind to.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
