Her older sister…. She is special needs, non verbal limited mobility. Due to her condition she was never able to play sports like Lily can. She will never live alone let alone take care of herself. Lily does it for her. Her sister goes to all her activities and loves watching her and the team. It gives normalcy to one in need, but also allows peers and also society to experience her sister too.
It’s not just one moment but several. She is a wrestler as well. She makes sure to talk to each of her opponents after each match. She checks to see how they are. Win or lose, and tells them great job and keep working towards their goals! She is full of empathy and is empowered to be that leader she longs for but what our future needs as well.
