Jackson Merrill inspires Lincoln. Jackson is not only really good at baseball, but he loves it and he loves his team. He loves to win, he puts in the work, and rises above his challenges. At spring training Lincoln watched Jackson Merrill stay until the end of every game, whether he was playing or not. He stayed after and signed for every kid. That is the type of player Lincoln wants to be.
Not giving up after making mistakes. Baseball is hard, you fail more than you succeed. It is hard to watch your child fail but it is so rewarding to watch them get up and keep going, still love the game and turn a mistake into fuel for growth. Lincoln had a tough outing in a semi final single elimination game. He made multiple errors and played one of his worst games fielding. But he rallied and made great plays following that and batted 1000 that game. He even earned player of the game.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
