My son started gymnastics to keep busy one summer and just fell in love with the sport. Now we have practice equipment in our living room.

He loves everything about gymnastics, and he’s always practicing something. From muscle ups in the living room to showing off his back walkovers and splits at family gatherings. He’s just a hardworking kid; He’s constantly pushing himself to improve. He’s fearless too, after all really scary fall from PBars, he was right back at practice. Even his coaches were surprised by his rebound. I’m so proud of how far he’s come in such a short amount of time, and how serious he takes his training.
His team has become like his second family. He looks up to his higher level teammates and all the boys are so supportive each other, even the ones who compete against one another at meets; They constantly push each other to be better both in and out of the gym. From his coach to his teammates families, everyone is so helpful and supportive. It’s just a wonderful group to be part of.
I’m so incredibly proud of his drive, perseverance and how he supports his teammates. He’s always trying to master new elements, perfect his form or technique and always helping and supporting his teammates. He’s always trying to make something better. Watching him find this sport has been like watching him find a piece of himself. He’s just an amazing little human being and I love watching him find a sport and a group of teammates that he cares about so much.
