The opportunity to grow his skills daily, teach others the things he has learned, make lifelong friends, and overcome difficult situations. He was ask to join the ProX tricking and weapons team for Taekwondo at just 7yrs old, where he learned advanced flips and kicks, as well as how to use a variety of weapons. Logan has won gold in every musical weapons form competition he has entered. He loves the team work and physicality of hockey.
His teammates and students. He loves fostering a learning environment in Taekwondo, growing with his hockey team, and really benefits from positive peer pressure. He looks up to his friends, teammates, and students so much, and they really learn a tremendous amount from each other.
Logan was diagnosed with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia 1 month before his second degree blackbelt test belt test. He was unable to test and it broke his heart. He had to sit out two months of Taekwondo and ProX. Once he was back on the mat he did not miss a beat and passed his second degree black belt test with flying colors. He showed everyone you can overcome difficult, scary situations, and come out stronger on the other side. He is now a 3rd degree black belt at just 11 yrs old!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
