What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Logan loves to train every day in at least two of his combat sports; Jiujitsu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, Wrestling and MMA. What he loves most of all about his combat sports is the reward to all of his training. That is, being deemed "ready" to step into the ring, on the mat, etc. and test his skills against very skilled opponents, who also train hard and deserve to be there. Logan enjoys the challenge of strategizing and the execution of learned skills, in order to reach his goals.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

It's a given that Logan's coaches, mentors and fellow athletes in his gyms (and parents) inspire him to be the best that he can be. There are athletes in all of Logan's disciplines who inspire him, but if he had to choose one athlete, it would be Canadian MMA Champion Georges St-Pierre (GSP). GSP overcame adversity in his life and is a true athlete. His perseverance, work ethic, determination, character, respect and professionalism, are what separates him from other MMA athletes.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

It has been an absolutely INCREDIBLE journey with Logan and it's impossible to name ONLY ONE instance that makes us the proudest. Logan has fought some pretty tough battles with older, larger, more experienced athletes and he NEVER gives up! Logan's accomplishments, confidence and personal growth in and out of the gym and in school, has been exceptional. He is a true athlete and lover of all sports. Sports have literally changed his life and win or "lose", we are ALWAYS so very proud of him!!!
