Lovie loves to travel and experience new competition. She has made friends whom we call her softball family all over Northern California .
Lovie is inspired by Karlyn Pickens. Karlyn holds the NCAA record for the fastest softball pitch thrown. Karlyn inspires Lovie to train harder and to be a better pitcher.
Lovie was pitching in the last inning of the championship game. The second baseman on Lovie’s team missed a grounder. The second baseman was having a hard time and was feeling down over the error. Lovie turned around and told her “don’t worry, I got you!” Lovie struck out the next batter, and her team won the championship game.
