Luka loves the freedom and challenge soccer brings. It’s more than a game—it motivates him and keeps him strong. Playing helps clear his lungs and improves breathing, which is essential for managing cystic fibrosis. The constant movement acts like natural therapy, boosting his endurance and lung function. On the field, he feels healthiest, most alive, and in control.
Luka is inspired by Christian Pulisic because of his skill, work ethic, and determination. Pulisic shows that Americans can succeed on the world stage, and that motivates Luka to push through every challenge. Like his hero, Luka works hard every day to prove what’s possible.
When Luka was 6, he realized that if he gave everything he had, he could run faster and play harder than anyone else. That moment changed everything. Since then, he’s never stopped pushing himself, using that drive to outwork his competition and chase his goals every game and practice.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
