What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Luke loves playing baseball because it fuels his passion and gives him purpose. The game challenges his mind with strategy while offering a mental escape that clears his thoughts and sharpens his focus. He thrives on the comradery of the team, finding joy and growth in every shared win or loss. Baseball teaches him self-reflection, building confidence through discipline. Every play, every swing is rewarding. It’s where he feels most alive and free.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The Lindos Suenos organization in particular provided Luke with a unique inspiration to help those less fortunate in other parts of the world. He returned from this experience with a renewed goal to use his success as a baseball player to empower others. He consistently draws inspiration and motivation from many people, taking pieces from each—work ethic, character, leadership—to grow as an athlete and a person, constantly striving to be his best in every area of his life.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was seeing my son return from injury—stronger, determined, and full of heart. He faced adversity with grit and grace, led with encouragement, showed true sportsmanship, and played with joy. That moment reflected how far he’s come—not just as an athlete, but as a person—driven by growth, character, and relentless determination to chase the future he dreams of.
