Lulu loves the challenge of fighting over and over and over again to learn a new trick. The joy of accomplishing a goal when she finally lands it, after such a battle, is so rewarding. She loves that working hard at skateboarding actually feels like playing!
Bethany Hamilton isn’t a skateboarder, but she has been the biggest inspiration for Lulu in how she has overcome so much to continue to do what she loves. As she says, “I don’t need easy; I just need possible.”
Lulu felt incredibly proud to be selected as a “Next Generation XGames Athlete” in the summer of 2024 and she was able to fly to Huntington Beach, CA to skate in an XGames Vert demo on the beach during the USA Surf Open. During the demo, she landed her first Kickflip Indy to fakie and the crowd erupted in cheers. The proud smile she had that day can’t be beat!
