My son loves to grow with his team, he knows that teamwork and commitment go hand in hand, and that leads to his success. When he plays, he forgets about everything except the game, he seems to have no worry’s whenever he plays. Just him, his teammates, and the ball. I love to see him get up in the morning doing pushups, he also encourages his siblings to join him.
Pastor Ronald Wilson and the men at our local church have been a great factor in his growth. It truly takes a village. They have been a positive support system in his life. especially when I was going through a separation, things got really tough. And on the court his role model is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander he says shai shows him why you should never stop grinding. And he’s constantly being a big supporter to everyone here at home.
My son was discouraged when he first joined his team, he did not get much play time. At one point he played only in 5th quarter, but he stayed positive and kept grinding. And it payed off , he became a starter and gained so much more confidence in his skills, I am so proud of him.
