Her coaches and teammates show her the value of hard work and support, while I as her mother try to inspire her to be fearless, kind, and determined. She looks up to leaders who stay true to themselves, never back down from a challenge, and lift others up along the way. Their strength fuels her drive to grow as both an athlete and a person.
A proud moment was seeing Mackenzie feeling down after a tough score, but then something shifted—she felt the encouragement from her teammates and coaches, and her whole attitude changed. She shook it off, lifted her head, and kept playing with heart. Watching her turn disappointment into drive reminded me just how strong and resilient she truly is. That moment made my heart burst with pride.
