What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves the challenge, the friendships, and the thrill of pushing herself to be better every time she steps on the field.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Mackenzie is inspired by her coach Paolo, coach Alex, coach Booth and coach Ray, who not only push her to be better on the field but they also teach her the importance of discipline, teamwork, and staying positive through setbacks. All her current coaches lead by example and show what it means to work hard and believe in yourself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of our proudest moments was watching her take on her high school rival, one of the top teams in the area. She gave everything she had, pushed past her limits, and truly left it all on the field. Even though the result didn’t go their way, we couldn’t have been prouder of her heart, grit, and unwavering determination.
