The Competition: Maddox enjoys playing against tough opponents and testing his skills at a higher level than rec soccer. Improving & Growing: Travel soccer pushes him to get better, and he loves seeing his hard work pay off in games. Scoring & Winning: That feeling of scoring a goal or making a game-saving plays.
Ronaldo and Messi inspire Maddox likely because they represent excellence, dedication, and success. Messi is known for his natural genius, vision, and playmaking. Ronaldo stands out for his athleticism, power, and precision. Ronaldo is often seen as the symbol of relentless work ethic — he’s known for long training hours and self-discipline. Messi, though quieter, also has a history of overcoming challenges (like his growth hormone deficiency) through commitment. Both have faced obstacles.
When Maddox was in Virginia for a soccer tournament and he had a hat trick in the one game. It just so happened to be when the fifa agent was there watching. He got his picture with him and he told Maddox that he was proud of him and told him he did really good.
