What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

showing that greatness in track is about more than just speed or strength; it’s about heart, effort, and commitment.**

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mom inspires me . No matter how tired she is or how far we have to go. She sacrifices so much so that I can compete and do what I love. Every time I step onto the track, I carry her strength with me

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

This season hasn’t been easy. I’ve fallen a lot in the hurdles lately. Each time I hit the ground, I had a choice: stay down or get back up. And every single time, I got up, finished the drill, and kept pushing forward. It would’ve been easy to give up or let frustration win — but I’ve learned that falling isn’t failure. It’s part of the process. What matters is how you respond, and I’ve responded with heart, determination, and grit.
