Join the CompetitionWhat Madison loves most about playing her sport is that it is a sport that was previously thought to be "only for boys." She loves that she gets to break that status quo and prove the world wrong. She loves that she gets to be a role model and an inspiration for girls in sports around the world.
Naomi Le, a 14-year-old rising flag football star, inspires her. Naomi is always training, always playing the game, and pushing herself to get better. Naomi trains other girls as well to help them up their game. Madison admires her speed, football IQ, and commitment to the sport and aspires to train and play as hard as she does.
It makes me so proud of how far she has come out of her shell. She never played any sport besides basketball because it was all she ever knew. The thought of a new sport, new coach, and new teammates scared her. But she pushed herself to try it out, and she fell in love with it! She has also went from being the shyest person on the team, to being a team captain and leading her team proudly. She has created great relationships with all of her coaches and teammates. She considers them her family.
