Being a 2 sport athlete has shown me that I can do anything i put my mind too. I became more ambitious and hard working willing to work through injury. I truly love how playing sports helped me mature and take charge of my own destiny !
The encouragement and support of my family as a whole is what inspired me . There is nothing more inspiring to me then having a family that prays for you believes in you while giving you the space to be whoever you want to be .
Mailaya's selection for the 2024 Raiders Inspire flag football team's 4th annual all-star game was a testament to her exceptional abilities. Throughout the season, she demonstrated great skill as a running back,she ran over 2,800 rushing yards. It was her impressive performance on defense during the all-star game that left a lasting impact, as she blitzed she was able contained the opposing team's offense by applying pressure on the quarterback. selected for offense , her defense was A1
