What I love most about playing basketball is the combination of teamwork, competition, and personal growth. I love the feeling of working with my teammates toward a common goal, pushing myself to get better, and the rush of adrenaline during a close game. It teaches discipline, hustle, and how to stay calm under pressure.
My parents, they are always positive and pushing me towards my goal. They make me believe that I can do anything which gives me the confidence to keep going.
I have loved every minute of summer AAU ball and watching her be the best she can be on the court. It makes me so proud to see her hard-work really show in a game and a parent from the other team ask me which child is mine and I get to say her!
