What I love most about football is the competition, the fun, and the bond I build with my teammates. It pushes me to stay focused, work hard, and never give up. Football teaches me discipline and brings out my best every time I hit the field. I love being part of a team and growing together through every challenge.
My mom and dad inspire me on and off the field because they’ve always pushed me to be the best version of myself, not just as an athlete, but as a young man. They work hard, support me at every game, and remind me to stay focused, humble, and grateful. My parents believe in me even when I doubt myself, and that motivates me to keep going. I’m also inspired when I look at my siblings and the younger kids in my community.
The proudest moment in Malachi’s athletic journey is his commitment to football. No matter what challenges he faces, when he puts on those pads and steps on the field, he gives it everything. Football is more than a game to him it’s his safe space and passion. You can tell he’s not just playing for fun; he’s playing with purpose, discipline, and heart. As his mother, that dedication makes me incredibly proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
