Malachi’s greatest inspiration both on and off the court is his mother. She has been the driving force behind his work ethic, determination, and commitment to becoming the best version of himself. Through her guidance, she’s encouraged him to step outside of his comfort zone, emphasized the importance of education, and instilled in him the understanding that character matters just as much as talent.
One of the proudest moments in Malachi’s athletic journey was witnessing his strength and resilience in overcoming a serious knee injury just one year ago. A cracked patella sidelined him for three and a half months an abrupt and difficult pause for a young athlete whose life revolves around the game. For someone who lives and breathes sports, But during that challenging season, Malachi’s strength didn’t just return physically his faith deepened, and his mental toughness grew.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
