I love the thrill of playing the game and being on the field with my teammates…it’s fun! Whether we win or lose, we get to practice and grow individually and as a team. I love how it has helped me mentally and physically to become stronger and evolve into a leader. It really has helped my character and accept losses because they are good teachers on how to become a better ball player. More importantly, I know that I am becoming a better human through my sportsmanship and communication skills.
Aaron judge inspires me because he shows integrity on and off the field. He leads his team with a humble confidence and demonstrates outstanding sportsmanship, whether his team is winning or losing. He supports his community and serves as a wonderful role model for kids. His work ethic is amazing…he is an extraordinary player and a family man that I look up to because baseball, community, and family are also very important to me.
I am the proudest about hitting my first career home run in little league. All year, I practiced batting in baseball clinics, at the batting cages, at practice and on the field with my dad. It was such a special moment because it showed me that hard work pays off. It was also extremely special because my whole family was there to witness this priceless moment in my baseball career. It was a moment that I will always treasure.
