Malina should be Athlete of the Year because she is playing volleyball or cheering year round. She gives her all to both sports equally!

Malina loves being a part of a team, whether it’s winning a volleyball match or a cheer competition. Whichever sport she is playing, she gives 100% at practice, games, and even practicing at home. She loves being the best competitor she can be.
Malina is inspired by her older siblings, all of them play or played sports. She grew up watching them make their spot in the world, so now she is making her own mark. She is the first to do volleyball and/or cheer, so she isn’t continually impressing them with her abilities and skills.
Malina takes loss like a true champ. She knows that it’s not defeating, she knows to keep fighting and to keep improving herself. Her spirit throughout two sports is never waiving. She goes from one to the other with ease and the same confidence every time. She never takes a break from sports because if it’s not in season, she has the drive to continue practicing independently.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
