Markus loves battling in the trenches and protecting his teammates. He’d rather make a key block than score a touchdown himself. Football gives him a sense of discipline, brotherhood, and purpose. Playing on the offensive line allows him to serve others and be part of something bigger than himself, a perfect fit for his selfless, team first mindset.
Markus draws inspiration from his faith. His love for Jesus shines on and off the field. He often leads teammates in prayer and gives all the credit to God for his success, using football as a way to honor his faith and lead by example. His strong values, humility, and leadership make him someone others naturally look up to, both in the locker room and in life.
As parents, we are most proud of Markus's determination and work ethic, which blossomed when he began his football journey. He embraces the hard work others avoid and trains year round without needing motivation from anyone. These qualities will carry him through life and help him succeed in anything he sets his mind to.
