“Why I Love Baseball – By Mason McLean I love baseball because it makes me feel strong and focused. I love the sound of the bat, the energy of the game, and the chance to grow every time I play. But most of all, I love the camaraderie—being part of a team that supports each other no matter what. We win together, lose together, and always have each other’s backs. Baseball isn’t just a sport to me—it’s where I feel like my best self.
The people who encourage me most are my mom and dad—they believe in me no matter what. My coaches push me to work hard and keep improving, and my teammates lift me up every game. I also look up to MLB players like Pete Alonso, who proved that even underdogs can rise to the top. Their support reminds me to stay confident, work hard, and never give up on my love for the game.
