Mason loves challenging herself every day. She pushes beyond what she thought was possible, tackling new skills with determination and grit. She embraces mistakes as learning opportunities, constantly striving to run faster, hit harder, and elevate her game through focused practice.
Mason is really inspired by Brooke Nelson. Brooke Nelson is known for her fierce competitiveness and unwavering dedication. She plays with passion and precision, always pushing herself to improve while lifting her teammates up. Brooke’s leadership, resilience, and love for the game inspire everyone around her.
One of our proudest moments was during a state championship in Eastern WA. After 8 hours of softball in 98° heat, Mason’s team took 2nd in a tough, emotional loss. On the way to the bathroom before our long drive home, we passed the winning team. Instead of hanging her head, Mason stopped to high-five them again and say “good game.” That moment—her grace, sportsmanship, and heart—showed us just how much she truly loves the game of softball.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
