Mason true inspiration has been his grandfather. Mason and his grandfather have spent countless hours playing and watching sports. Mason lost his grandfather last year but carries his memory with him with a note written by his grandfather that he always keeps with him, and an engraved glove in memory of his grandfather.
There have been many proud moments, but one that sticks out is when his team won the league championship. Mason started on this team not knowing anyone else. He quickly found a grove with his teammates and a bond that made the team strong. Mason shown true sportsmanship.
