You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
I love how football forces you to grow up. It teaches you how to show up when you’re tired, how to lead when you feel alone, and how to trust the guy next to you like a brother. It’s not just a game, it’s where I’ve learned how to be accountable, how to sacrifice, and how to stay grounded no matter what life throws at me.
My inspiration is my mom. She’s never missed a game, even when she was working double shifts and barely sleeping. She doesn’t know too much about football, but she knows what sacrifice looks like, and she lives it. Her grind, her strength, and her belief in me fuel every rep, every hit, and every fourth quarter push.
One moment that makes me the proud of is my athletes journey is seeing my senior son lead his varsity football team this season. He’s been dedicated to the sports since he was five, playing Pop Warner through every age level, including spring and seven on seven. Beyond his impressive athletic skills which truly stands out as his leadership on the field, his coachability and his sportsmanship. Coupled with his amazing academic success, I’m incredibly proud of this well-rounded young man.
