Matthew loves the challenge that comes with goalkeeping. Not always a natural athlete, he has worked extra hard to get to the travel soccer level. He also loves water sports, archery and marksmanship. He is always willing to encourage others to learn new skills. He loves the comeradery and hard work associated with the multiple sports he competes in.
Matthew is self motivated to be the best at every sport he participates in. He is encouraged by his family and his faith in God.
In early travel soccer days, he was on a team where other players weren't so kind because they preferred the starting goalkeeper. He worked extra hard and continued to encourage the whole team and eventually became the starting goalkeeper.
