Max loves the competition. He enjoys playing with his teammates, cheering them on, learning new skills, and building onto what he already knows. He never backs down from a challenge and gives 110% effort always!
Max is inspired by several different players for their skills and performance. Ella De La Cruz, Michael Jordan, and Babe Ruth being a few of his favorites! He is also inspired by his dad who is also one of his coaches and looks up to him for the support and encouragement he provides.
There has been many moments that have made me proud of Max but what makes me most proud is his sportsmanship. One game the ball came off Max’s bat straight to the pitcher breaking his face mask as it hit him. Max made sure to check and see if he was ok then cheered him on every time he was at bat following the incident even the game after ours when Max wasn’t playing.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
