What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

For Maximus, baseball is more than a sport—it’s a way of life. Wearing #6 isn’t just about stepping onto the field; it’s about stepping into a role he loves and works hard to earn every day. He loves the thrill of competition and the constant challenge to improve. He thrives under pressure—whether he’s on the mound delivering strikes, holding the line at third base, or stepping up to the plate ready to hit. Every game is an opportunity to push himself further and play with heart.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Maximus draws his greatest inspiration from his dad. More than just a parent, his dad is his role model,someone who shows him what it means to work hard, stay humble, and never give up. Whether it’s throwing pitches in the backyard, driving hours for tournaments, or offering encouragement after a tough game, his dad is always there. Patient, positive, & PRESENT. Watching his dad's dedication and love for the game and for him, pushes Maximus to give his all on and off the field!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

At the 11u World Series, Maximus wasn't just focused on playing hard, he stood up for something bigger than the game itself. One of his teammates, who has Tourette's, was being unfairly flagged for balking due to uncontrollable tics. Maximus stood proudly by him as they created a new rule that recognized his condition & protected his ability to play. Knowing he & his team played a role in changing the rules so no child would be excluded is something he’ll never forget & bigger than any win!
