He loves the game and being able to compete. He’s got a fantastic attitude and such a big heart for his teammates and even for his competition. He’s loves baseball because of the mental challenges it gives him and it has taught him so much about life and he compares situations he faces to the game of baseball.
On the field it’s Fernando Tatis Jr. he admires his arm strength and accuracy. Off the field it’s his Great Grandfather, he plays for him and loves being around him and talking to him when his great grandfather brings up his old days of playing baseball.
He is a undersized kid compared to some Of his teammates and he was in the outfield but wanted to play short stop for his travel baseball team and he came to me his father and asked to work on it and we spent weeks getting ready fielding and about a month or so getting mentally ready and one day he went to his coach about playing short stop and he agreed and he hasn’t been out of the spot since.
