McKenzie was born 3 months premature. At birth her health was at question, fast forward to 9 y/o and she is an absolute Star athlete.

She's loves how all the lows, the highs, the wins, the loses, all teach her something and give her the ability and experience to handle life situations outside of her respected sports.
McKenzies biggest inspiration has to be Megan Faraimo. She met her as a 6 y/o and Megan signed her game worn visor and gave it to McKenzie. Coincidentally they both wear number 8. Since then McKenzie grew the desire to become the Best pitcher she could be and has set the goal to attend UCLA. McKenzie sees how hard her father and mother work to provide for her and understands that to obtain those goals she will have to also work hard.
Seeing her perform in high pressure situations, seeing her succeed, seeing her fail, she handles all situations gracefully. There's not a single moment that stands out as my proudest moment for her because it's been the entire journey from beginning to now as a whole that I have been lucky enough to embraced and witness. My proudest moment is now, watching how far she has already came and the reason I wake up everyday is to watch who she will continue to become.
