What I love most about playing my sports are staying active and constantly challenging myself to improve. It keeps me physically and mentally sharp. I also love the opportunity to compete alongside other talented athletes—it pushes me to be better and creates a strong sense of connection and teamwork. The shared passion and drive make every game and practice rewarding.
I’m inspired by my friend Dixie Nessel, who just signed with UTA to play D1 volleyball in the same position as me. She’s incredibly talented, works hard, and stays humble and kind through it all. I also really look up to Nebraska’s Harper Murray—she’s an amazing hitter and shows great sportsmanship on and off the court. Both of them motivate me to keep pushing myself and to be a better player and teammate every day
One of my favorite moments was when I had a perfect hit inside the 10-foot line that landed so hard the receiver actually fell over—don’t worry, she was totally okay! It was one of those plays where everything lined up just right, and the energy from my team and the crowd after made it even more unforgettable. That hit reminded me how much I love this game and what I’m capable of on the court.
