Our daughter’s dream is to represent Montana and the USA in the Winter Olympics as an alpine ski racer! She trains year round to improve!

She enjoys the winter season, likes all the snow and going fast down the mountain! She loves learning new skills and improving on them weekly at her practices. She enjoys her coaches both during the winter season and the coaches she has at her summer ski racing camps and other off season ski camps. She enjoys the competition of race days and being able to put her skills that she’s practiced on, to work.
She’s always been a huge fan of the leading female ski racers, especially Mikaela Shiffrin! This last March, we drove to Sun Valley to watch the Alpine World Cup Championships and she had the opportunity to watch Mikaela win her 101st win as well as meet her! Mikaela, Katie Hensien, AJ Hurt, River Radimus, they all were so great with the crowds and paid attention to the youth in the crowd. They are not just an inspiration on the hill but off as well!
Her determination to succeed! Getting up on race days at 530 to get ready and be on snow by 730 when it’s often only 20 degrees out is not easy. She does it with determination, grace and strength. She’s committed to be one of the best and works hard towards that goal. She’s also a straight A student despite missing classes for skiing.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
