Mia loves the bonds she builds through softball—the friendships, trust, and teamwork. She thrives in a team environment and enjoys pushing herself to improve each day. Whether it’s the excitement of a big play or the support shared between teammates, softball gives her purpose, joy, and a place to grow both as an athlete and a person.
Mia is inspired by her coaches and teammates who lead with heart and hard work. Off the field, her biggest inspiration is her mom, who balances life with strength and love. These role models remind Mia that character, effort, and integrity matter just as much as talent, and they motivate her to always give her best.
One proud moment was during a tough tournament after a long week of school and work. Mia showed up early, gave her all, and hit a walk-off double. But what stood out most was her leadership and positive attitude all weekend. Her resilience, commitment, and sportsmanship in that moment reflected the strong, determined young woman she’s become.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
