Being a part of a team! As himself Michael is very quiet and collected however thanks to basketball he becomes the person he is meant to be. He is powerful, exciting and strong. Someone who never wants to let his teammates down so he will give everything he has for them every time he enters the court.
His Coaches! He only started playing August of 2023 since then he loves watching NBA. He may learn some moves and such from watching the Pros but his coaches over these 2 years have inspired him to be the best athlete he can be. As his Mother I would have to say he inspires himself as well. He pushes himself daily and his focus of Basketball hasn't wavered since his journey began. Everyday he tries to find ways to better his form, speed, reflexes and balance.
Every time he enters onto the court until the buzzer goes off I'm proud of this kid. If I had to choose 1 moment it would be during his last seasons playoff game. With 3 seconds on the clock in a tied match playing the undefeated team that season, He was passed the ball and made a perfect 3pt shot to win the game. He doesn't panic under pressure he gains focus. His hard work makes me the proudest honestly.
