I love how every sport challenges me in a different way. Game situations teach me to remain calm, focused and to trust my teammates and coaches. I love being part of a team and cheering each other on. Winning is fun and exciting but even when we don’t win, I still learn and continue to grow as a player.
My parents are my inspiration because they are always there to support me, encourage me and teach me to work hard on the field and in school. They teach me the importance of having a good education and how it will benefit my future. They’ve taught to be responsible, respectful, hardworking & to stay humble. They show me how to be a better player and an even better person.
Being chosen for a National 11U baseball team when I am only 10 years old was one of the proudest moments in my athletic journey. I was so excited and thankful because I know all the hard work is paying off. It pushed me to work even harder and stay focused and keep learning for my coaches and teammates. I felt proud, not just for making the team, but for showing that even the youngest player can make an impact if they stay dedicated and humble.
