You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Miles loves playing baseball because it’s more than a game, it’s a family. After breaking his leg, his teammates were there, cheering him on, and reminding him he was still part of the Warhawk family. He loves the friendships, the competition, and the unmatched feeling of stepping onto the field knowing he’s fully supported. Baseball has taught him resilience, teamwork, and the how to never give up, no matter what challenges come his way.
Miles looks up to his dad, Justin, as both a role model and coach. Justin inspires him to work hard, stay humble, and always show good character. Whether on the field or at home, he leads by example, teaching Miles to be a great teammate, a respectful competitor, and a kind person. Miles also looks up to Messi, wanting to play soccer just like him!
One moment that makes me proudest for Miles was the day he walked onto the field, using a walker after a shattered femur, to show up and support his Warhawks team as they won the championship game. The whole team was surprised and ran over, he WALKED to stand proudly with his team! He supported them every step of the way even though he could not play. His character shined that day as he smiled and cheered his team on!
