Miles loves everything about sports. He is a multi-sport athlete, and shines on and off the court/field. Miles loves his teammates and his coaches, they become like family to him. Sports has taught him dedication, teamwork, leadership, confidence, and how to dream big. He is a coachable kid with high athletic intelligence. Each new sports season is an adventure, one that brings excitement and challenge. I know God has something big in store for Miles, he knows it too.
Miles’ words- My Dad. He’s my best friend and the best athlete I know. My words- Ric is exactly the Dad that Miles needs. He teaches Miles everything about sports. He inspires Miles to do his best and be his best. He shows up, in a big way, every single day. Miles is literally Ric’s mini-me and it’s such a blessing to watch the two of them. Every sport, no matter the season, Ric is making sure Miles is good.
His sportsmanship. Whether it’s to his teammates or the opposing team, he is always helping and encouraging others. He is his teammates biggest cheerleader. He wants success for everyone, not just himself. Last year, during a football game, his coach asked him if he would help a teammate get his first touchdown. Without hesitation, Miles handed the ball to his teammate, who got his first TD. He’s such a good kid, with a huge heart. I am in awe of his talent and accomplishments.
