Receive Text UpdatesHe loves to play football because it’s fun and he likes to make tough catches. He loves basketball because he’s been playing since he was little and loves to compete. He practices shooting and dribbling outside in the driveway daily and has made great lasting friendships through sports.
“My stepdad Mr. Marcus because he worked really hard even when people doubted him, and made it to a very high level. He works with me on skills and trains me. I want to make it overseas or pro just like he did.”
Watching Miles become a leader on the court and seeing that translate to how he shows up as the second oldest in our home and at school has been great to witness. He has overcome many outside obstacles and watching him take over games and encourage and lead others has been my favorite part of his journey. He works extremely hard and has reached a new skill level in a very short time because of that.
