You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
I love being a teammate and having a group of people that will support me no matter what. I love travelling and competing and getting to see new places and meet new people every year. I love the repetitive aspect of training. The more you train the better you get and that’s a great motivator for me. Being good at sports doesn’t just come naturally for most people. You have to work hard for what you want and that makes it even better.
My coaches inspire me, buy putting so much time and effort into our teams. They work so hard to make us better and that really shows how much they care about us and the sport itself. My parents also inspire me by also putting so much time and effort into me. All the trips, practices and games they have drove me to. I want to be a passionate parent like them when I get older. Also, the athletes in the older age groups inspire me. I’ve watched them grow up and grow their game.
Winning athlete of the year at her school. All year long she was participating in all the different sports her school had to offer. She was a leader on and off the field/ court. It was a huge surprise winning that award as a junior at her high school.
