What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love playing football because I’m good at it and I like to win! I’m fast, I can tackle hard, and I know how to make big plays. I like being part of a team and helping us score touchdowns. It feels awesome when we beat a tough team. I like working hard at practice and showing what I can do on game day. Football makes me feel strong and proud. I want to keep getting better and be the best on the field! I love having my family there cheering me on loud and proud!! It makes me happy.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My dad inspires me to play football because he’s also my coach. He teaches me everything I know and always pushes me to do my best. He believes in me, even when I mess up, and that helps me keep going. He plays with me at home and cheers for me at games. I want to make him proud and be just like him. He’s tough but fun, and he always tells me I can do anything if I work hard. That’s why I love playing football.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

What makes me the proudest is watching my 8 year old show the skills and understanding of what it means to be a true youth athlete. His ambition, work ethic, and determination are far beyond his years. He plays with heart, listens, learns, and gives his all every time he steps on the field. His drive and focus are unmatched, and it’s truly inspiring to watch him grow—not just as a player, but as a leader and teammate.
