What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

She loves the feeling of being part of a team and pushing herself to get better every day. Competing brings out her best, but it’s the friendships, the challenge, and the sense of purpose she finds in training and games that keep her coming back. She genuinely enjoys the grind — whether it's early practices, intense matches, or learning from a loss. Sports have helped her grow in confidence, leadership, and resilience

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

She’s inspired by high-level athletes who lead by example and her 2 favorite coaches - Alessandro Pappalardo (soccer) & Chelsea Misskey (basketball) who both model hard work, positivity, and a true love for the game. She’s especially drawn to those who not only excel on the field but also bring out the best in others through their leadership and attitude. Seeing that kind of commitment and care makes her want to work harder and be that kind of role model for her teammates too.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments was watching her go from being somewhat new to high school basketball to becoming a key player on her team. She put in the extra work outside of practice, stayed coachable, and never let setbacks slow her down. By the end of the season, she wasn’t just holding her own — she was noticeably raising the level of play for the whole team. Seeing her growth, impact, and confidence build like that was incredible.
