Myles loves sports because they’re fun and full of excitement. He enjoys scoring touchdowns and making big plays on the baseball field. He works hard to win for his team and uses every challenge to get better. Myles takes pride in doing his best and being a good teammate. Sports have taught him confidence, leadership, and how to push through tough moments.
Myles says he is inspired by his mom and dad because they always support him, push him to be his best, and never let him give up. He also inspires himself. He wants to keep growing and get better every day. He knows in order to make himself proud both on and off the field, he has to work hard.
Our proudest moment was when Myles hit his first home run. He had worked hard all season with a goal of hitting one over the fence, and in the last game of the season, he hit a walk off home run. It was the first time he set a big goal and really worked hard to reach it. Since then, he’s continued to set goals and push himself to grow.
