What I love most about playing soccer is how it lets me escape reality for a while. When I’m on the field, I can clear my mind and just focus on the game. It helps me relieve any kind of stress, have fun and enjoy the moment on the field whether it’s playing with a team or just kicking the ball around.
My dad inspires me both on and off the field. He’s always pushed me to work hard and never give up, no matter what. He believes in me and supports me, and seeing how dedicated and strong he is in his own life motivates me to give my best every time I play.
The proudest moment in her athletic journey came after a knee injury paused her progress. Just before, she helped her middle school team win the county championship and was thriving in competitive club soccer. When she returned, she came off the bench with limited minutes. Instead of feeling frustrated, she stayed focused, worked hard, and made an instant impact every time. Her resilience, determination, and heart through that challenge are what make me incredibly proud.
