Naomi loves how dance lets her express every emotion without saying a word. She loves the challenge, the discipline, and the feeling of becoming stronger every day. But what she loves most is the joy, whether she’s on stage performing or in class practicing, dance is her happy place, her passion and her purpose.
Naomi is inspired by her choreographer, Ms. Shay, who pushes her to be her best while always believing in her. She teaches Naomi that hard work, heart, and humility matter more than winning. Naomi sees the passion Shay brings to every routine and hopes to inspire others the same way one day.
The proudest moment was watching Naomi win the Heart of Gold award. It wasn’t for skill, but for showing the most heart, passion, and sportsmanship. She cheered on competitors, lifted up her teammates, and danced with everything she had. That moment proved her character shines even brighter than her talent.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
