Receive Text UpdatesNatalia loves how softball is a fully immersive experience for her. All the pressures of social life and school fade away when she gets to speed around the base path. At the plate, Natalia get to blast the softball, smashing the ball into the outfield showing the world how powerful she truly is. Being a 12 year old is not always easy, but softball for her is an oasis, a safe place where she gets to pour out her heart into every play and delivery for her beloved teammates!
Being native New Yorkers, Natalia very much looks up to the Yankees and specifically Aaron Judge.The fact that he struggled in the World Series and then has had an incredible comeback this season has inspired Natalia to stay positive when she has dealt with hitting slumps. When we talk about Judge we’ll say, “Aaron Judge didn’t quit baseball after the World Series, instead, he worked even harder and is now dominating when it comes to his batting.”
In one of Natalia’s early 12U tournaments, her team was short on players, but she stepped up to play despite having a cold. Mid tournament she ate a salad that gave her an allergic reaction! Mid game, she came out to take Benadryl, and then insisted her coach put her back in. She took a nap in between games 2 and 3, because Benadryl makes you sleepy. But in Game 3, she dominated fielding, on the base path, and at bat winning MVP. She had every reason to leave, or struggle, but she beat the odds.
